Product Information

Do you sell matching accessories?

Yes — we offer matching scotia, thresholds, trims, underlays, adhesives, and maintenance products.

Are your floors suitable for underfloor heating?

Most of our engineered floors are UFH-compatible, provided the surface temperature stays below 27°C.

What thickness should I choose?
  • 14mm engineered wood: Ideal for most homes, excellent stability, UFH-friendly.
  • 20mm+ engineered wood: Best for heavy traffic, premium feel, long-term durability.
What is the difference between solid and engineered wood flooring?

Solid wood is one piece of timber all the way through. Engineered wood has a real wood top layer bonded to a stable multi-layer core, so it moves less with heat and moisture. That makes engineered wood the better choice over underfloor heating and in conservatories. Both can be sanded and refinished; how often depends on the thickness of the wood above the tongue (the wear layer on engineered boards).

Placing an Order

Can I order samples and products together?

Can I buy without ordering samples?

Yes. If you're confident about your choice, you can order directly.

Choosing Your Floor

Which flooring is best for kitchens and bathrooms?

In bathrooms, where there is constant moisture, vinyl (LVT) is the safest choice; laminate can be used with care, and solid or engineered wood isn’t recommended. In kitchens vinyl is the most practical, but solid wood, engineered wood and laminate work too, as long as spills are wiped up quickly. Our flooring advice centre covers every room.

Do I need underlay?

Floating floors (boards that click together) need an underlay for stability, comfort and noise reduction, unless the boards already have one attached. Over concrete you also need a damp proof membrane, either separate or built into the underlay. Glue-down floors are fixed straight to the subfloor. Our underlay guide explains which type to choose.

How much extra flooring should I order?

Add about 5% for cutting and waste on standard plank floors and 10% for herringbone and parquet, then round up to the nearest full pack. Our measuring guide shows how to measure any room shape.

Is laminate or vinyl better?

Both are hard-wearing and good value. Vinyl (LVT) is highly water-resistant, so it suits bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms best. Laminate has a hard, wood-like surface and suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. Order free samples of both to compare them in your home.
