Engineered Natural Lacquered Prime Grade Oak Wood Flooring 20mm X 190mm.
This Engineered Natural Lacquered Prime Grade Oak Wood Flooring has the width of 190mm, and the depth of each plank is 20mm—with an additional 4 mm devoted to an Oak veneer on top. There’s a 4mm wear layer so you can sand it down and give it a new finish twice. The first ten to fifteen years at home shouldn’t require this.Â
This Engineered UV Lacquered wood flooring is excellent for areas with extremes in temperature and humidity, such as sunrooms and living rooms, and is the only kind of flooring that can’t be installed in a bathroom. Since our engineered flooring materials are so stable, installing them in rooms with water-based underfloor heating is not a problem.Â
The Lacquered engineered oak comes with a tongue and groove contour on each board that makes the assembly as easy as applying glue. This Oak is of the highest quality, and as such, has no knots or other imperfections common to lower quality Oak items.
Typically, this Engineered UV Lacquered wood flooring is installed as a floating floor, which means that an underlay is set on the subfloor before the flooring is put down. This underlay serves as a moisture barrier, a sound barrier, and an insulation layer.
