Key Features

  • Conventional plank width and Random lengths.
  • Brushed and oiled engineered wood flooring has been brushed lightly to expose more of the natural qualities and charm of the wood.
  • Shorter acclimatization than solid wood, ready to fit in a couple of days.
  • The boards are then finished with layers of oil to protect it from daily wear and tear, which provide a natural and traditional looking matt finish to the flooring.
  • Rustic grade allows large knots and cracks and imperfections giving the product much more character and warmth.

Engineered Natural Brushed & Oiled Oak Wood Flooring. The total thickness of the plank, including the top 5mm layer of oak veneer, is 18mm, with each board measuring 125 mm. You can sand down and refinish the surface up to four times thanks to the 3mm wear layer.

Brushed & Oiled oak engineered wood flooring is highly durable to variations in temperature and humidity, making it possible to install it in most house rooms, including conservatories, except the bathroom. Our engineered flooring products are stable, so installing them in spaces with water-based underfloor heating is not an issue. Since each board is made with a tongue and groove profile, they can all be put together using glue. Since this oak is of mixed quality, it will likely have some knots, as is customary for oak goods.

Engineered brushed and oiled wood flooring would typically be installed as a floating floor, where an underlay is set on the subfloor beneath the flooring, adding further protection from any dampness and serving as a sound barrier and insulator.
