Engineered Brushed & Oiled Natural Oak Wood Flooring 20mm X 220mm
Engineered Brushed & Oiled Natural Oak Wood Flooring comes with a brushed surface and an oiled finish, this floor keeps the natural texture of wood and ensures a realistic appearance, with beveled edges adding the dimension you would expect from conventional wooden floors. With its classic grade and earthy, light brown color palette, this flooring highlights exquisitely the wood’s natural knots and textures.
Engineered wood in Brushed & Oiled oak features a 6mm wear layer, these floors may be sanded and refinished many times. Floors can be re-oiled as needed. Produced in 220 x 20/4mm boards with fixed lengths of 2200mm, these floors can be put in a number of ways, including floating, nailing, or gluing using the tongue-and-groove joining method.
This Engineered Brushed & Oiled Natural Oak Wood flooring is very resistant to fluctuations in temperature and humidity, allowing it to be installed in most areas of the house, including conservatories, with the exception of the bathroom. Due to the durability of our engineered flooring, installing it in rooms with water-based underfloor heating is not an issue.
Typically, this Brushed & Oiled engineered oak would be installed as a floating floor, where an underlay is placed on the subfloor beneath the flooring to provide additional protection against moisture and to act as a sound barrier and insulator. A surface with an oiled finish is permeable and may not be suited for spills.
