Engineered Natural Brushed Uv Lacquered Oak Wood Flooring 14mm X 190mm
A great Engineered Natural Brushed Uv Lacquered Oak Wood Flooring made of natural oak. Each board is 190mm (19cm) long, and the whole plank is 14mm (1.4cm) thick. The top 3 mm of the plank is made of Oak veneer. The 3mm wear layer means that the surface can be sanded and refinished up to 2 times. In most homes, this shouldn’t be necessary for the first 10 to 15 years.
Engineered Brushed Lacquered oak wood flooring like this is very resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, so it can be put down in almost any room of the house except the bathroom. This includes conservatories. Because our engineered flooring is stable, you can put it down in rooms with underfloor heating without any trouble. Each board is made with a tongue-and-groove shape, which makes it easy to glue them together. This Oak is a mixed grade, which means it will have some knots like most Oak products.
Most of the time, this Brushed lacquered oak wood would be installed as a floating floor. This means that an underlay is put on the subfloor before the flooring is put down. This protects the floor from moisture and acts as a sound barrier and insulator.
