The excellent Engineered gossamer Grey Brushed Matt Lacquered Oak Wood Flooring 14mm X 125mm measures 125mm (12.5cm) wide, is 14mm (1.4cm) thick overall, and has a top veneer layer of oak measuring 3mm thick. You can sand down and refinish the surface up to three times thanks to the 3mm wear layer.
Engineered Grey oak wood flooring is extremely durable to variations in temperature and humidity, making it possible to install it in most rooms of the house, including conservatories, with the exception of the bathroom.
Engineered gossamer Grey Brushed Matt Lacquered Oak Wood Flooring is highly stable, so installing them in spaces with water-based underfloor heating is not an issue. Since each board is made with a tongue and groove profile, they can all be put together by just using glue. Since this oak is of a mixed quality, it will likely have some knots, as is customary for oak goods.
This Engineered Grey oak wood flooring would typically be installed as a floating floor, where an underlay is set on the subfloor beneath the flooring, adding further protection from any dampness and serving as a sound barrier and insulator.
